Reflections on the Benefit Fiesta

It seems like more than a month since the Benefit Fiesta was celebrated at Heritage Hall. Despite the intensity of the last weeks I have had some time to reflect on the event and want to share some of those thoughts.

First I want to thank everyone that so generously participated in so many different ways. The amount of auction items topped 100 this year. The diversity and quality of gifts was amazing. These were donated by both businesses and individuals. Please check for a complete list of donors and volunteers….Our Thanks to…

Muchas gracias to the Benefit Fiesta team that worked tirelessly to organize and execute the event. They are to be commended for their perseverance in the face of adversity and their resilience and flexibility certainly showed a great intelligence and heart at work. Well done.

Our MC princess – Barb and auctioneer prince – Wayne, once again orchestrated the evening with grace, humour and efficiency.

A fantastic delight and amazement for everyone was the magic of Travis Bernhardt. His understated style could not disguise his great talent. Awesome!

I received many positive comments about how well the evening went – the atmosphere, the flow, the hospitality. For this compliment, unending thanks are due to the volunteers t
hat attended to all of the practical tasks of the evening setup, selling, serving and hospitality, and of course, cleanup. What a great team. It was a successful evening from the inside organization through to the enjoyment of the guests.
A thousand thanks to everyone wh
o made this evening so great!

Congratulations to Everyone,
Greg
