GranFondo cycling events are open to all levels of bike riders. These events are very popular and are gaining popularity in North America. The 2010 RBC GranFondo Whistler was the first world-class GranFondo in Canada, and attracted over 4000 riders. The 2011 GranFondo Whistler will be held September 10, 2011.
How it Works
As a member of Team Somos we ask that you commit to raising a minimum of $650 or more for Compassion Fruit Society to go directly towards building the Project Somos Children’s Village in Guatemala. In return for your efforts you’ll receive free registration into the Whistler GranFondo 2011 (value $225) and custom team jersey (value $70). We will use Facebook Fundrazr to make fundraising simple and easy for your supporters.
Why Ride for Project Somos?
Help us raise funds to build an eco-sustainable village for orphaned and abandoned children in Guatemala. Team Somos is participating in the Whistler GranFondo 2011 and our goal is to raise a minimum of $650 each.
All donations of $25 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
