The Arrival of Bamboo
Thursday, August 4th, 2011200 pieces of bamboo arrived on Friday, July 29th. Each piece is 4-6″ in diameter and 10m in length and will be used for the roof structure for the first and second family home of Project Somos Children’s Village.

Monday, April 25th, 2011Today, April 15, 2011 when we arrived at the land to drop off some supplies in the new container, this group of boys arrived and spontaneously assisted with the unloading!
First things First – We Need Tool Storage – The Container
Thursday, April 14th, 2011On Wednesday, April 13th we moved this 28 foot container from highway near Tecpán to Chivarabal. It is the first “building” on the land and will be “home” to our tools.
The Future Home of the Project Somos Children’s Village
Sunday, December 19th, 2010A collection of photographs of the land upon which the Children’s Village will be built. This beautiful property is located near Tecpan, Guatemala and will be the future home of Project Somos, Seres and the Ethical Bean Coffee Roasting Facility.
