Jose and his mom, board member, Maria came to Guatemala for 3 weeks in August 2011 to help us on the ground.

BEAUTIFULL !!! Congratulations Jose, You look very busy! I am very proud of you! It is nice to know that you and mammy are learning more about GuaTemala’s people and its culture which I miss a lot. I hope both or you are having a good time there.

The Project Somos Children’s Village will provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for all children that reside in the Village.
Based on a family-centred model, children will grow up in a home with a Guatemalan foster mother and siblings.
Each family will live in a beautiful home in an environment that facilitates, healing, learning and growth.
There will be seven homes which are built using earthbag construction.
This eco-sustainable Village will use alternative power, and will have organic agriculture & orchards.
The Village works hand in hand with the local Guatemalan community.
The Canadian penny is now phasing out so why not help us do a penny drive?
