Virtual Volunteer

 

At times Project Somos seeks volunteers who able to work remotely from anywhere in the world. You will need a computer (or other device) internet connection and access to Zoom. Please keep in mind that Guatemala is in Central Standard Time.

Currently we are not seeking virtual volunteers. Please feel free to check in at a later date to see if we need more volunteers.

One-to-One Literacy Support helping children to learn to read or improve their reading skills. Native Spanish speakers only, 1-3 hours per/week. Contact Meliza for more information. meliza(at)projectsomos.org.

English Tutors to work with Somos students, we are looking for individuals who like working with children and can help with basic conversational English. This will require a 1-2 hour commitment each week. Contact us at info(at)projectsomos.org.

All virtual volunteers will be required to provide a current criminal record check and to have an interview prior to being placed in a virtual volunteer position.
