At Project Somos, we often talk about education and nutrition. But the truth is, our work goes far beyond books and meals.

We welcome children with dirty hands—not just from playing in the dirt, but from lives shaped by neglect, absence, and a deep longing for love.

These little hands tell stories.

Stories of loneliness, of violence, of having to grow up too soon.
And as we gently help clean those hands, we are doing something much deeper.

We are reminding their hearts—wounded, ignored, and marked by trauma—that they are not alone.
That they are seen.
That they are loved.

Every hug, every plate of food, every moment of trust is a step toward healing.
